📋 Description

• Provide subject matter expertise on radar system integration, operations, and lifecycle sustainment • Support FAA surveillance programs with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and modernization planning • Observe, capture, and report technical data related to installation and modernization of FAA radar systems • Collaborate with FAA stakeholders, contractors, and engineering teams to align with mission objectives • Develop and submit concise technical and status reports throughout site survey, pre-installation, installation, testing, and acceptance phases • Notify higher Peraton authority of significant risks, issues, and opportunities and their potential schedule impacts • Oversee site and vendor technicians • Maintain awareness of equipment installation schedules and ensure compliance with FAA mandates • Monitor updated systems after installation and acceptance testing • Communicate with site technicians and vendors to optimize ATC systems through calibrations, alignments, and additional testing • Support updated radar systems that provide optimal detection capabilities and increased data accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• US citizenship • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; or 12 years with no degree • Strong self-starter traits • Significant hands-on technical work maintaining moderately complex systems such as radars, radios, or networks • Ability to implement conflict resolution and deconfliction steps • Ability to operate independently under agile conditions with limited oversight and/or managerial control • Critical thinking and ability to follow processes and procedures • Ability to travel 75% (expected travel is 1 month on and 2 weeks remote rotation) • Solid communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to assess large amounts of pertinent data and produce detailed technical reports under time limitations • Clear and effective communication with all parties • Preferred: Familiarization with radar operations, ATC systems and operations, and/or Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems • Preferred: Expert use of Microsoft products and business applications
