📋 Description

• Lead, coordinate, and captain support resources for project costing of large, complex projects • Develop turnkey estimates for Building Automation projects • Prioritize assigned projects and tasks to meet the sales schedule • Review customer specifications and drawings to ensure technically compatible and competitive quotes • Coordinate and verify subcontractor quotations and scopes of work • Develop detailed scope letters and optimal system designs • Attend and run pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs for potential projects • Consult with operations, engineering, and sales throughout the tendering process • Identify cost-reduction ideas and support sales calls as needed • Reconcile final job costs after internal and external project review meetings • Develop and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships • Turn awarded projects over to the operations team • Support vendor scopes, pricing, and reporting • Assist sales with project qualification and prioritization • Advocate for new initiatives within the PreCon organization • Report to the Pre-Construction Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of proficient system application and product knowledge • Experience estimating material costs and associated labor for large, complex projects • Ability to review customer specifications and drawings • Ability to understand, analyze, document, and communicate technical terms and conditions • Ability to coordinate and verify subcontractor quotations and scopes of work • Ability to develop detailed scope letters and optimal system designs • Ability to attend and run pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs • Ability to reconcile final job costs • Ability to develop and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships • Ability to identify and document discrepancies in plans and specifications • Ability to complete required technical training
