📋 Description

• Partner with product teams on high-impact projects to solve performance challenges • Dive deep into incidents to uncover architectural causes • Design, build, and promote reusable resilience patterns and tooling • Own and advance the observability strategy • Mentor and coach engineers to raise technical bar • Establish and drive a new Operational Excellence review process • Help define and measure SLOs for critical user journeys

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping complex production systems • Direct experience in performance, scalability, or observability is a significant plus • Enjoys mentoring other engineers and can clearly explain technical ideas • Deep expertise in metrics, logs, and traces • Experience in instrumenting complex, distributed systems • Ability to listen with empathy and build trust • Ability to build robust libraries and tools that improve other engineers' work • Takes Initiative and is comfortable with ambiguity
