📋 Description

• Maximize customer satisfaction and project profitability through quality, on-time, within-budget project delivery • Oversee, direct, coordinate, and evaluate day-to-day project activities • Work with internal and external stakeholders to execute contracted scope of work • Represent Peterson on-site at customer locations during equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning • Schedule and direct meetings with subcontractors and customers/owners • Manage project documents, permits, approvals, certified payroll, schedules, safety guidelines, and site access • Partner with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to meet customer goals • Work with Sales to understand scope of supply and expectations • Provide technical support and work/cost estimates to Sales • Coordinate project logistics, equipment orders, packaging, shipping, and site services • Review contract documents for specification compliance and commercial terms • Use project management software to establish budgets, issue purchase orders, and monitor project finances • Select vendors and issue purchase orders • Coordinate material deliveries and production scheduling; expedite shipping as needed • Act as primary liaison between Peterson and the customer • Attend project meetings at customer locations, job sites, and Peterson offices • Ensure project quality control and coordinate labor, subcontractors, testing, inspections, shop tests, site tests, and training • Oversee assigned projects and guide field crews • Ensure compliance with final acceptance requirements and successful customer turnover • Maintain and provide customer documentation • Assist Sales in pre-sale meetings and project development • Guide service personnel during startup and commissioning • Monitor vendor performance and support continuous improvement • Perform project invoicing, progress billing, and cost/profit projections • Ensure profitable project delivery and improve processes and gross profit • Communicate with Caterpillar on technical and commercial issues • Maintain notes for continuous improvement on future projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Business or other closely related field • Minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in project management in the construction industry • Equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted • Maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and a satisfactory driving record • Drug screen and background check required • Ability to travel away from base location up to 50% of the time • Ability to operate a company or personal vehicle as needed • Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance • Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills • Ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Ability to continue education and training as a self-directed learner
