📋 Description

• Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory • Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, disease states, and Pfizer medicines • Provide therapeutic area and product information to internal and external stakeholders • Serve as a resource for Medical Information and customer insights • Contribute to Medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics • Communicate and collaborate with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and Field Medical colleagues • Deliver live, virtual, written, and telephone medical communications • Incorporate health literacy and cultural awareness into patient-centered communications • Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant therapeutic topics • Identify and engage priority customer segments • Respond to unsolicited medical requests from healthcare professionals with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information • Provide scientific leadership in a regional territory and collaborate with cross-therapeutic-area colleagues • Contribute to or co-lead virtual advisory boards • Field inbound healthcare professional queries through the established triage process • Partner with Oncology Research & Development and Clinical Operations to identify potential clinical trial sites, including sites serving under-represented patient populations • Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process • Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise through congress data and disease-state literature • Provide Asset leadership as needed • Explain study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation to customers • Engage with local Patient Advocacy Groups in collaboration with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical Affairs • Deliver insights on patient organization structure, capabilities, and population needs • Serve on Medical, therapeutic-area, and asset cross-functional committees • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical/professional associations and societies • Mentor onboarding partners, advisory board participants, and study leads as appropriate • Participate in special projects • Collaborate compliantly with commercial colleagues to support practitioner needs • Document medical interactions as required • Travel by air and car for healthcare professional/customer meetings, medical congresses, and internal meetings • Work weekends for congress coverage as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required • Relevant experience required: PharmD/PhD with 5 years of experience, MBA/MSc with 7 years of experience, BA/BSc with 8 years of experience • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree highly preferred • Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders • Clinical and technical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to manage conflict constructively • Change agility and adaptability to organizational change • Ability to manage significant project volume in a remote environment, prioritize, implement successfully, and exercise excellent judgment • Ability to work within a matrixed, multidisciplinary team • Problem-solving and enterprise-wide networking ability • Ability to collaborate effectively and demonstrate leadership and teamwork • Self-starter, accountable, with a sense of urgency • Ability to rapidly adopt digital technology, including AI • Ability to document medical interactions timely as required • Ability to operate a Pfizer company car and regularly fly on airplanes • Ability to travel 50–75% of the time • Permanent work authorization in the United States • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable • Ability to work weekends for congress coverage • Proximity to an airline hub city • Previous Field Medical experience preferred • Breast Cancer therapeutic area expertise preferred • Gynecological Cancers therapeutic area expertise preferred • Resides in or near Chicago, IL preferred • Familiarity with internal/external SOPs, rules, and regulations regarding Pfizer/customer interactions preferred
