📋 Description

• Provide therapeutic area and product expertise across Medical customer segments and initiatives in an assigned U.S. territory • Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers • Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, disease states, and Pfizer medicines • Provide medical information to healthcare professionals and share customer insights with Pfizer • Contribute to Medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics • Collaborate with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and other Field Medical colleagues • Deliver approved medical content through live, virtual, written, telephone, and other channels • Identify and engage priority customer segments • Respond to unsolicited medical requests from healthcare professionals with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information • Provide scientific leadership in a regional territory and collaborate with cross-therapeutic field medical colleagues • Contribute to or co-lead virtual advisory boards • Field inbound healthcare professional queries through the established triage process • Partner with Oncology Research & Development and Clinical Operations to identify potential clinical-trial sites, including sites serving under-represented patient populations • Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process • Cultivate research and therapeutic-area expertise through congress data and disease-state literature • Provide asset leadership as needed • Explain study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation to customers • Communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups in collaboration with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical Affairs • Deliver insights on local patient-organization structure, capabilities, and patient population needs • Serve on Medical, therapeutic-area, and asset cross-functional committees • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical/professional associations and societies • Mentor colleagues through onboarding, advisory-board, and study-lead activities • Participate in special projects • Collaborate compliantly with commercial colleagues to support practitioner needs • Document all medical interactions as required • Attend healthcare professional/customer meetings, medical congresses, and internal company meetings • Work weekends for congress coverage as needed

🎯 Requirements

• MD or equivalent required • Relevant experience required: MD with 4 years of experience, PhD/PharmD with 5 years of experience, MBA/MS with 7 years, or BA/BSc with 8 years of experience • Subject matter expertise recognized across internal and external stakeholders • Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities • Clinical and technical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to manage conflict constructively • Change agility and adaptability to organizational change • Ability to manage significant projects remotely, prioritize, implement successfully, and exercise excellent judgment • Ability to work within a matrixed, multidisciplinary team • Problem-solving and enterprise-wide networking ability • Ability to collaborate effectively and demonstrate leadership and teamwork • Self-starter, accountable, urgent, and results-oriented • Ability to rapidly adopt digital technology, including AI • Ability to document medical interactions in a timely manner • Ability to operate a Pfizer company car and regularly fly on airplanes • Ability to travel 50–75% of the time • Ability to work weekends for congress coverage • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • Preferred: Previous Field Medical experience • Preferred: Breast Cancer therapeutic area expertise • Preferred: Gynecological Cancers therapeutic area expertise • Preferred: Resides in or near Chicago, IL • Preferred: Familiarity with internal/external SOPs, rules, and regulations regarding Pfizer/customer interactions
