📋 Description

• Conduct office calls with HCPs and office staff to support appropriate patient access to Pfizer products • Resolve reimbursement and coverage questions • Provide in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, coverage and formulary updates, payer policies, and patient support • Distribute Pfizer-approved coverage and reimbursement materials, including patient assistance programs and billing/coding guides • Educate HCPs and office staff on Hub financial assistance offerings, enrollment, portals, and brochures • Coordinate with Pfizer patient access and support programs (HUB) to understand payer requirements for individual patients • Address prescription-status questions for patients enrolled in Pfizer access and support programs • Use Pfizer’s designated case notes system compliantly • Serve as subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage issues affecting Pfizer products in assigned regions • Provide interpretive information and local market insights to Pfizer leadership on reimbursement issues • Communicate compliantly with diverse stakeholders and influence decisions without direct authority • Link customer insights to offerings and resources addressing patient access barriers • Build trust through follow-up and knowledge of the access journey • Conduct live customer interactions, approximately 50% of working time

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, typically in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement • B.S. or B.A. degree required • Reimbursement and Access experience is a plus • Strong understanding of specialty drug reimbursement, government payment systems, provider/carrier networks, co-pay assistance programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer business units/brands • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Strategic planning and successful plan implementation experience • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work across internal boundaries and collaborate with multiple stakeholders • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures • Proven collaboration with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders • Training in and experience with responsible business communication, written and spoken • Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and oversee and guide colleagues’ work • Must reside within territory boundaries • Authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent U.S. work authorization required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future • Additional certification in coding and reimbursement preferred but not required • Coding and billing knowledge or certification a plus but not required
