📋 Description

• Conduct office calls with HCPs and office staff to support appropriate patient access to Pfizer products • Resolve reimbursement and coverage questions • Provide in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, coverage and formulary changes, payer policies, and patient support • Distribute Pfizer-approved coverage and reimbursement materials, including Patient Assistance Programs and billing and coding reference guides • Educate HCPs and office staff about Hub financial assistance offerings, enrollment processes, Hub HCP portals, and related brochures • Coordinate with Pfizer patient access and support programs to understand individual patient payer requirements • Address prescription-status questions for patients enrolled in Pfizer patient access and support programs • Compliantly use Pfizer’s designated case notes system • Serve as the subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage issues affecting Pfizer products in assigned regions • Facilitate appropriate patient access to prescribed Pfizer products • Provide internal Pfizer leadership with interpretive information and local market insights on reimbursement issues • Communicate compliantly with stakeholders to influence ideas, actions, or positions without direct authority • Link customer insights to offerings and resources addressing patient access barriers • Build trust through follow-up and knowledge of the access journey • Maintain responsible business communication in written and spoken communications

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years pharmaceutical industry experience, typically within pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement • Reimbursement and Access experience is a plus • Strong understanding of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands • B.S. or B.A. degree is required • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Strategic planning and successful plan implementation experience • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work across internal boundaries and collaborate with multiple stakeholders • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures • Proven track record collaborating with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders • Training in and experience in responsible business communication, written and spoken • Valid US driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards • Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and overseeing and guiding colleagues • Must reside in territory boundaries • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future • Additional certification in coding and reimbursement preferred but not required • Coding and billing knowledge or certification a plus but not required • Travel requirement of approximately 50% for live customer interactions
