• Lead regional commercial execution for Pfizer’s oncology portfolio across the assigned geography • Translate national brand strategy into regional business plans • Develop and oversee regional account strategies for oncology customers and stakeholders • Deliver regional revenue, market share, and business performance goals • Use sales performance data, CRM insights, marketplace trends, account dynamics, and competitive intelligence to adjust execution plans • Lead regional business reviews, performance discussions, field coaching routines, meetings, workshops, and communication forums • Build relationships with community oncologists, institutional decision makers, pathway influencers, practice administrators, and cross-functional customer groups • Guide account planning, customer segmentation, stakeholder mapping, field roles, and pull-through actions • Lead regional launch readiness and execution for oncology products, indications, or expanded use cases • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Value and Access, Patient Support, Commercial Operations, Sales Learning and Development, and other matrix partners • Support access strategies involving formulary, pathway, buy-and-bill, specialty distribution, reimbursement, patient support, and site-of-care considerations • Provide customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market feedback to inform planning and strategy • Coach, develop, recruit, retain, assess, and succession-plan Area Business Managers and field teams • Lead regional people processes including goal setting, performance reviews, compensation planning, talent planning, development planning, career progression, recognition, and performance improvement • Ensure compliant execution of commercial activities and champion use of AI, CRM, call reporting, sales analytics, dashboards, and business planning tools • Support enterprise initiatives, operating model changes, capability-building programs, and business effectiveness projects • Collaborate with Regional Business Director peers and cross-functional leaders to share best practices and solve regional challenges • Manage regional operating budgets, travel, expenses, and resource deployment
• BA/BS degree required; degree in business, life sciences, pharmacy, healthcare, or related field preferred • 15+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty care, medical marketing, or sales experience, with significant oncology experience strongly preferred • 5+ years of people leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty care, or healthcare commercial roles, including leading managers and/or geographically dispersed teams • Demonstrated success delivering commercial results, executing regional business plans, leading account strategy, and coaching teams to measurable performance outcomes • Strong understanding of the oncology marketplace, including customer segmentation, treatment decision drivers, academic and community oncology dynamics, market access, reimbursement, patient support, and competitive dynamics • Experience collaborating with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, Commercial Operations, Sales Learning, Compliance, HR/PX, and other matrix partners • Ability to analyze business data, CRM insights, and market trends and translate them into actionable plans, coaching priorities, and resource decisions • Ability to lead through change, build inclusive and accountable teams, develop talent, manage performance, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and field colleagues • Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards • No DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years • Ability to travel within the United States, including overnight travel, based on business need • 3+ years of Oncology Regional Business Director or equivalent leader-of-leaders experience preferred • Current Commercial Oncology expertise strongly preferred • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future • Position requires permanent work authorization in the United States
