📋 Description

• Build and standardize processes, documentation, and workflows for patient support, pharmacist, and pharmacy technician functions • Identify operational gaps and design scalable solutions that reduce friction and improve consistency • Partner with Engineering and Product to align systems with operational workflows and embed controls at the point of work • Lead the AI and automation agenda for Operations • Build AI-driven monitoring to surface error signals and risk patterns in real time • Define a roadmap for emerging AI capabilities, evaluate tools, pilot them, and integrate them into the operating model • Own the quality function, including audit, analysis, and quality engineering • Shift quality operations from reactive manual auditing toward automated controls and predictive monitoring • Ensure quality issues are rapidly escalated, clearly owned, and resolved with documented outcomes • Drive improvement initiatives across partner teams and hold leaders accountable to timelines and measurable outcomes • Own escalation frameworks for cross-functional issues • Escalate blockers with proposed solutions and drive initiatives to completion • Lead and develop a team spanning operational excellence, quality, and process design • Build reporting infrastructure for real-time visibility into performance and process health • Produce data-driven narratives for executive and business reviews covering metrics, trends, root cause, and actions taken • Report to the Vice President of Operational Excellence and collaborate with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Client Success

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 10+ years of operations, operational excellence, or process improvement experience in a complex, high-volume environment • 5+ years leading and scaling operational teams or functions • Demonstrated ability to build operational processes and infrastructure from the ground up, with a track record of measurable improvement • Hands-on experience leveraging AI, automation, or software-based tools to improve operational performance and quality monitoring • Experience building or overseeing a quality function, including automated and system-embedded controls • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across teams without direct reporting authority • Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated bias toward originating work • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership • Experience in a regulated, high-accuracy environment such as pharmacy, healthcare, or clinical operations preferred • Ability to travel up to 20% • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be located in one of the states where PHIL employs remote team members: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, or West Virginia
