📋 Description

• Serve as front line support for the Patient Connection Center within Piedmont Healthcare • Review accounts for complex hospital services and specialized procedures, including surgeries, to ensure completeness prior to patient arrival • Verify patient insurance and confirm benefits • Determine authorization requirements • Initiate and obtain pre-certification or authorization • Create estimates to determine pre-service patient liability

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required • 2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle or related experience in clerical accounting/finance required • One of those years must be working specifically within Healthcare Revenue Cycle • 4 years of related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred • Prior Epic experience preferred • Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred • Licenses and certifications: None required
