📋 Description

• Run storage tank compliance programs for client companies that own the tanks • Coordinate regulatory inspections and assemble compliance packets • Drive notices of violation to documented closure • Oversee release detection and testing, troubleshoot failures, and report suspected releases within required windows • Manage vendor compliance activities from creation through closure • Chase contractors for documentation and triage activities requiring field service • Track new sites, remodels, acquisitions, closures, and construction escalations • Confirm sites and tanks are correctly registered, configured, and documented • Manage day-to-day client relationships • Maintain accurate site-level records in the compliance platform • Build portfolio command, complete inspection-readiness reviews, triage activity backlogs, establish vendor relationships, and orient client contacts • Obtain or progress Class A and Class B operator certification for each covered state

🎯 Requirements

• Reads regulations and applies them independently • Follows vendors through documented closure without reminders • Comfortable serving as the person a regulator calls • Documents work while performing it • Maintains composure and accuracy under immovable deadlines • Escalates issues appropriately and handles routine matters independently • Enjoys contributing to a positive team environment • Ability to manage a multi-state portfolio across changing state rule sets • Spill response rotation and inspection-date responsiveness required • Preferred, not required: Class A and Class B operator certification in one or more states • Preferred, not required: Experience managing a multi-site underground storage tank portfolio • Preferred, not required: Familiarity with Titan or a comparable compliance platform • Preferred, not required: Working relationships with state agency inspection and compliance staff • Must reside in Florida, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Illinois, Texas, or Arizona
