📋 Description

• Evaluate, implement, test, and manage technology solutions • Develop and execute interoperability analyses • Conduct functional and round-trip testing with connected interfaces • Understand project architecture, test environment, and test data needs • Conduct positive, negative, validation, exploratory, and regression testing • Verify and validate data integrity, including database persistence and data transfer between systems • Verify technical solution requirements within VA or across agencies such as VA and DoD • Identify and disposition defects according to standards and processes • Support the VA Independent Enterprise Testing Support Services contract • Provide independent verification and validation services for software delivery lifecycle and modernization efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or related discipline • Experience with Oracle Millennium EHR • Understanding of web-based applications • Ability to utilize organizationally established architecture tools, repositories, and repository management processes • Good interpersonal skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to convey technical information appropriately for the audience • Experience producing effective client deliverable analysis reports with little to no supervision • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks and handle changing priorities • Detail-oriented and able to work independently • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and obtain a Government-granted Security clearance • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Experience with communication tools (Teams, SharePoint) • PMP or CSM certifications preferred but not mandatory; ability to obtain those certifications if hired is required • Access to VA network is a plus • VA or DoD healthcare or architecture/engineering experience is a plus • Veterans Affairs environment and VistA experience preferred • Experience in large application deployment and DevOps implementations • Knowledge of COTS and GOTS systems/products/services evaluation preferred • Knowledge of Health Information Technology policies and procedures and patient care/clinical business processes preferred but not mandatory • Experience using risk-based testing methodologies preferred but not mandatory • Experience with Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) • Experience with risk-based testing methodologies • Experience with Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing
