📋 Description

• Architect, build, and scale maintainable test automation frameworks across mobile, connected TV (CTV) platforms, and web • Drive the test automation roadmap, including automation best practices, framework architecture, page-object models, and test data strategies • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Bitrise, and Jenkins • Enable continuous regression, deployment health checks, and release gating • Test live and VOD video playback, client-side and server-side ad insertion, and quality-of-experience (QoE) scenarios • Test and debug API/microservice integrations for data integrity, performance, and contract validation • Validate privacy and consent flows, including CMP behavior, preference persistence, DSAR-affected paths, and PII boundaries • Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, environments, logs, and severity assessments • Partner with engineering leads on triage, regression coverage, architecture reviews, and quality metrics • Contribute to device lab strategy and address testing across multiple CTV platforms

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience on consumer software, with at least 3 years leading automation efforts on multi-platform mobile and/or CTV products • Proven track record of architecting automated test frameworks from scratch for web, mobile, or CTV using modern tools such as Playwright, Appium, Detox, XCUITest, Espresso, or Robot Framework • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD test pipelines • Streaming video QA experience covering playback, manifests, ad pods, DRM, and QoE • Hands-on testing and automation familiarity on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Tizen, or Vizio platforms • Strong analytical and bug-investigation skills; ability to isolate environmental, timing, and platform-specific issues • Clear written communication; excellent at writing reproducible bug reports and concise automation documentation and test plans • Self-directed technical leadership in a remote, distributed engineering culture • Nice to have: experience with consent/privacy testing or compliance-driven regression suites • Nice to have: hands-on experience using AI tools like Cursor and Claude • Nice to have: experience setting up physical or cloud-based device farms such as AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs, or HeadSpin
