📋 Description

• Process high volumes of accounts payable invoices through Stampli across multiple related legal entities, including entity allocation, approvals, documentation, general ledger coding, data entry, payment processing, and vendor discrepancy resolution • Compare vendor terms with activity to optimize payment methods and timing • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to obtain and verify W-9s and payment instructions, including ACH, wire, and BillPay information, and complete phone verification of vendor banking details • Set up and maintain vendors in NetSuite and applicable banking platforms • Process company credit card transactions through Stampli • Manage annual 1099 reporting and filing • Assist with accounts payable compliance issues, including W-9 and sales and use tax matters • Serve as liaison to more than 300 vendors regarding billing, payment, and account inquiries • Review project-related expenses and coordinate with project management teams to process invoices and ensure timely payment • Maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and financial records in compliance with project contract accounting requirements and internal controls • Assist with periodic financial reports compliant with U.S. GAAP • Support external relationships with accounting firms, banking partners, investors, insurance brokers, and bonding agents • Prepare accounts payable journal entries and support the monthly close process • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger • Generate accounts payable status reports • Implement accounting efficiencies, process improvements, and control enhancements • Supply documentation for annual audits and loan draws • Support investor reporting, budgeting, and forecasting • Develop and implement internal controls, policies, procedures, and workflows • Complete other assigned projects

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance • 4+ years’ relevant work experience in an accounting department • Current experience in renewable energy, power and utilities, or construction preferred • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, including macro-writing capabilities, pivot tables, and data queries • Working knowledge and experience with Stampli, NetSuite, or similar software • Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail • High degree of business acumen, discretion, and professionalism • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, colleagues, and internal stakeholders • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional environment with geographically dispersed team members • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining aligned with company and department objectives • Proven ability to stay connected and maintain communication across distributed teams in hybrid or remote settings • Strong desire and demonstrated ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and assume increasing responsibility • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, high-quality results
