📋 Description

• Teach students in assigned high school-level Personal Finance courses • Interact with students at least once per day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and vacation days • Grade student exams, review student modules, and review or grade lab work when applicable within required timeframes • Initiate substantive student interactions and communicate regarding academic performance and coursework progress • Answer student questions about course material through the integrated messaging system • Identify underperforming students scoring below a projected 70% and recommend practices or support services to improve performance • Support the Department Chair in periodic course reviews based on distance-learning best practices and developments in the field • Collaborate with the Department Chair to cover colleagues’ vacations • Attend faculty/staff meetings • Participate virtually or in person in at least two Faculty Development Program opportunities each calendar year • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree required • Successful completion of a background check • Currently hold and/or ability to obtain Child Abuse, State Police, FBI Fingerprinting, and Mandated Reporter for Child Abuse clearances • Additional educational or industrial experience related to course matter desired • Excellent working knowledge of field of work • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and achieve desired results • Ability to evaluate and review curriculum in areas of expertise • Effective problem solving and conflict management skills • Excellent written, verbal, listening, and public speaking skills • Service-oriented focus on helping students succeed • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States • Employer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa
