📋 Description

• Install, inspect, and start company-manufactured equipment at customer sites according to specifications, proposals, and approved engineering drawings • Service company products at customer sites through testing, troubleshooting, and adjustment • Use gauges, meters, and electrical testing equipment to check specifications and operational parameters • Support customers by telephone, email, or in person • Communicate product problems to Quality and Engineering departments for resolution • Conduct customer training and service programs on equipment operation and maintenance • Complete daily expense reports, project site activity records, and project-specific documentation • Determine acceptance of erected company equipment to activate warranties • Maintain technical competence and stay current with industry developments • Perform other duties assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience • Ability to apply math involving fractions, ratios, and measurements • Ability to read, comprehend, and convert instruction manuals and diagrams into work • Demonstrated success as a Field Service Technician • Flexibility and adaptability across a wide range of work responsibilities • Effective problem-solving focused on delivering results • Mechanical aptitude with a range of power tools • High reliability • Subject matter expertise in switchgear operation, repair, and installation • Knowledge of diesel and natural gas fuel systems • Knowledge of load banks • Knowledge of PLCs, including Modicon, Allen Bradley, and Siemens • Experience preferably in power generation or a similar industry • Ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time, often out of state
