📋 Description

• Build and ship full-stack features for the Praetorian Guard platform • Own work from design through production operations • Overcome challenges in developing and operating the platform • Write clear, tested, durable code • Improve engineering standards through code reviews, technical proposals, and leading by example • Translate real-world vulnerability findings into platform capabilities with offensive security engineers • Design systems for attack surface management at scale • Build queue-based security scanning pipelines, graph database systems, and real-time interfaces • Ship major Guard platform features relied on daily by security teams • Optimize graph queries and build AWS serverless infrastructure • Integrate AI tooling into development workflows • Turn high-level requests into practical customer-facing features • Translate vulnerability patterns into automated detections • Contribute through technical blog posts, internal knowledge sharing, or open-source work • Mentor junior engineers and support continuous learning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics • 0–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, startups, or tech companies • Idiomatic, testable, production-ready Go • Understanding of serverless architectures, API design, and databases under real load • Distributed systems, concurrency, failure modes, and data flow knowledge • Ability to build responsive, performant, maintainable frontend UI with AI agents • Side projects, open-source contributions, or technical writing • Experience shipping something real outside a classroom • Willingness and ability to use AI tools in development • Experience or ability with AWS serverless architecture, CloudFormation, Lambda, React, and Playwright • Ability to collaborate with offensive security engineers • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
