• Develop and deliver medical equipment design packages for government and private-sector healthcare capital projects • Support and collaborate with the project team throughout the project lifecycle • Contribute to project staffing and work plans, including deliverables and due dates • Create or contribute to project status reports • Establish communication networks among clients, facility managers, project teams, architects, engineers, construction managers, consultants and vendors • Maintain open-items and action-item lists with follow-ups and resolutions • Coordinate with BIM design teams on medical equipment locations and placement • Assign and follow up on day-to-day tasks with the equipment planning support team • Participate in equipment installation site visits and comply with required PPE • Lead medical equipment planning components in on-site and remote design meetings • Develop meeting minutes for equipment-focused design meetings • Develop and contribute to design submittals, including ASE files, vendor cut sheets, drawings, installation guides and O&M manuals • Participate in inventory processes, data management and post-inventory equipment evaluation • Compile medical equipment cost estimates and project budgets • Assist with medical equipment technology decisions, evaluations and demonstrations • Manage procurement activities with project managers and field operations • Solicit vendor submittals, drawings and specifications • Coordinate vendor presentations, site visits and pricing negotiations • Plan equipment room-by-room using proprietary or industry software • Conduct quality assurance to identify and resolve medical equipment design conflicts • Evaluate and incorporate client standards into equipment selections and recommendations • Obtain client approval and sign-off for selected equipment • Participate in new proposal processes as needed • Complete payroll and expense reports accurately and on time • Maintain accountability for attendance and work production • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or clinical area of expertise • At least 5+ years of medical equipment planning experience or related project work • Local Denver presence preferred • Mixture of DoD and private sector work preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and clients • Ability to multitask and communicate in high pressure situations • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of architectural design processes and documentation • Ability to read and interpret architectural programming, design, scheduling and specification documents • Ability to attend site visits at various stages of projects • Experience leading/participating in client meetings • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications • Basic accounting principles • Experience with Bluebeam software preferred • Working knowledge of Revit design software preferred • Strong leadership awareness, methods and techniques for mentoring and coaching junior level staff • Travel is required • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations • Ability to sit for extended periods of time • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time • Ability to read computer screens, email and talk on the phone • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area • Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
