• Develop crews, monitor progress, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within allotted time and cost budgets • Plan projects, including ordering and receiving materials, coordinating equipment availability, and communicating execution plans • Oversee trenching, concrete work, fence installation, soil management, grading, SWIP, and machine operations • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to finish • Assist the Project Manager with critical path schedules for new sites • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans • Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment delivery according to project plans • Conduct site inspections for project specifications, quality standards, and safety compliance • Coordinate with construction managers, project managers, customers, and subcontractors • Supervise and lead crews and subcontractors • Assign tasks, provide technical guidance, and resolve conflicts • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development • Review and approve daily time and reporting from assigned Foremen and subcontractors • Create and monitor two-week look-ahead and daily schedules • Implement quality-control measures and rectify defects or non-compliance • Enforce safety protocols, training, and regulations on-site • Perform other duties as assigned
• 3–5 years related experience as a Foreman or Construction Manager in Civil • Strong understanding of safety processes, OSHA requirements, and construction site work • Possess or can obtain certifications/licenses in OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, RF Awareness, Blood Borne Pathogens, and DOT Health Card • Ability to manage multiple projects, crews, job sites, and customers • Ability to focus on daily construction processes and anticipate and plan upcoming work • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and SOW • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to learn and use Premise-provided software • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products/construction management software • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record throughout employment • Ability to drive for Premise • Ability to travel up to 100% and work at various locations as business needs dictate • Experience operating heavy equipment and forming, pouring, and setting concrete • Preference for a valid CDL driver’s license • Professional certifications in construction management are preferred • Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, squat, push, pull, climb stairs and ladders, hear, see, reach, grasp, and operate computers, telephones, power tools, vehicles, and equipment • Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs.
