📋 Description

• Define and lead Prime’s enterprise back-end digital experience, API, interoperability, and data-sharing strategy • Translate business priorities, client needs, regulatory commitments, and technology modernization into a clear multi-year roadmap • Partner with internal stakeholders and clients to shape secure, reliable, and reusable capabilities connecting people and systems with the right data • Lead business execution for interoperability initiatives, including delivery plans, client commitments, testing strategies, operational readiness, and measurable outcomes • Ensure alignment with CMS requirements, FHIR implementation guides and versions, NCPDP standards, security, privacy, contractual obligations, and internal policies • Establish APIs and interoperability services as managed enterprise capabilities with ownership, governance, lifecycle standards, and performance expectations • Guide modernization from point-to-point and legacy integrations toward reusable platforms and services, including API gateways and catalogs, FHIR capabilities, data mapping, bulk exchange, and event-based integration • Lead a high-performing team • Align architecture, engineering, data, security, compliance, legal, operations, product, and client teams • Resolve barriers, manage risks and tradeoffs, drive accountability, represent Prime with external partners, and measure adoption, reliability, compliance readiness, implementation speed, reuse, and value delivery • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience • 8 years of work experience in operations and/or digital experience • 5 years of management/people leadership experience • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship • Working knowledge of modern API, cloud, and data-sharing concepts, including REST APIs, API gateways and catalogs, reusable services, event-based integration, data mapping, identity, consent, security, and lifecycle management • Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability and data standards, including FHIR resources, implementation guides, version management, and relevant NCPDP standards • Ability to understand technical architecture and engage with engineering and architecture teams • Ability to explain complex technical and regulatory topics in clear business language • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence without direct authority, align business and technology leaders, and guide stakeholders through modernization and evolving regulations • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills • Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or another related advanced degree • Preferred: Pharmacy benefit management, payer, pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated-industry experience • Preferred: Experience with CMS interoperability requirements, FHIR-based APIs, prior authorization interoperability, health plan or provider integrations, and client implementation support • Preferred: Enterprise API, interoperability, data platform, or integration modernization strategy experience • Preferred: API product management, platform governance, and legacy service migration experience • Preferred: API security foundation for emerging AI agents and automation familiarity • Must comply with security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodations available if requested
