📋 Description

• Lead a team of actuaries providing strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology • Use market research, financial projections, and complex actuarial modeling • Collaborate with underwriters, client engagement, and senior leadership on RFP processes and pricing and risk management initiatives • Develop and maintain forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit cost, benefit design, and regulatory events • Oversee pricing processes and recommendations • Work with Finance and functional departments on current and projected product and transactional costs and pricing strategy • Develop scalable processes and effective controls for work products following actuarial standards of practice • Lead negotiations and presentations, translating complex concepts for varied audiences • Manage department budget, staffing, performance, and development • Demonstrate Prime's leadership expectations with direct reports, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience • High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED required • 10 years of actuarial work experience, including 5 years within healthcare or the PBM industry • 7 years of leadership experience • Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA) • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship • Excellent quantitative, problem solving, and analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously without compromising quality • Strong client consulting presence and ability to present complex material clearly • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders across the organization • Experience identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients’ complex pharmacy benefit challenges • Strong understanding of pharmacy plan design • Must comply with security responsibilities, applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, and internal policies and procedures • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job; reasonable accommodations may be made when requested
