The team combines engineers and former special operators to rapidly prototype and deploy AI-driven, NLP-enabled systems that can run on constrained edge hardware — including drones and other fielded platforms. 📋 Description

• Serve as first point of contact for employee IT needs, troubleshooting hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with other departments • Maintain asset inventory and device lifecycle for laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals • Manage Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, including enrollment, compliance policies, and configuration baselines • Document processes and maintain the IT knowledge base and runbooks • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive • Design and enforce least-privilege SharePoint permissions • Manage licenses, groups, conditional access policies, and role-based permissions • Protect sensitive data through sensitivity labels, data loss prevention, and external sharing and guest access governance • Partner with engineering and DevSecOps to deliver secure, governed AWS resources • Administer AWS identity, access, and governance • Manage cloud spend and mature access controls and repeatable processes • Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts and investigate suspicious activity • Enforce MFA, disk encryption, patching, and least-privilege access • Manage vulnerabilities, security configurations, and security awareness training • Support incident response through triage, containment, documentation, and follow-up • Support CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliance requirements, audits, and customer security questionnaires • Protect Controlled Unclassified Information through configuration, access control, and data handling • Recommend and implement tools and processes • Manage vendors and IT purchasing • Help define the IT and security roadmap as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on IT administration or systems support • Experience administering AWS, including IAM, AWS Organizations, EC2, and S3 • Direct experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune • Experience supporting remote and distributed teams • Hands-on experience with identity and access management, endpoint protection, and incident response • Experience administering SaaS tools, including access, licensing, and vendor management • Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, and networking basics • Ability to work independently and prioritize support requests, security tasks, and projects • Clear, patient communication with non-technical colleagues and credibility alongside engineers • Strong documentation habits • Sound judgment and discretion handling sensitive data • Willingness to wear many hats in a small team • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must currently reside within the United States • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance if required • Permanent Residency or visa sponsorship cannot satisfy the regulatory requirements
