📋 Description

• Provide purely human written translations using the provided XTM CAT tool; machine/AI translation is prohibited • Follow project work instructions, glossaries, and reference materials • Ensure source concepts, style, and register are culturally and linguistically appropriate for the target language • Perform language quality checks before delivery • Deliver completed jobs by deadlines and project budgets • Review formatted target-language PDF files and mark corrections using Adobe markup tools • Communicate promptly and professionally with Prisma team members • Participate in quality management processes, including Corrective Action Reports, Root Cause Analyses, and solution implementation • Protect sensitive information such as PHI, PII, and SBU • Follow Prisma's Master Service Agreement and Vendor Guide • Accommodate fast turnarounds for small word-count projects • Provide written translation, editing, and proofreading from English into the translator's native target language • Accept project assignments on an as-needed basis according to availability

🎯 Requirements

• Current certification from one of the following: American Translators Association (ATA) or DSHS LTC • Alternatively: an academic degree or formal translation certificate from an accredited institution, two years of professional translation experience, verification of passing a written language fluency exam, and agreement to participate in a mandatory two-person quality assurance workflow • 18+ years of age • Adherence to Prisma's Master Service Agreement (MSA) and related MSA Addenda • Fluency in English and the target language • Experience and ability to use modern CAT tools; XTM is provided • Ability to work with PC and MAC formats, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, fillable PDFs, rich text, and XML/text blocks • Adobe Acrobat installed and ability to use Adobe markup tools in PDF files • Reliable desktop PC or laptop with a dedicated, secure, high-speed internet connection • Languages listed include Azerbaijani, Bulgarian, Cebuano, Chamorro, Dutch, Estonian, Fulani, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hmong, Hungarian, Igbo, Ilocano, Ilonggo, Indonesian, Italian, Karen, Kikuyu, Kinyarwanda, Kurdish, Latvian, Lingala, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Malayalam, Marathi, Marshallese, Mongolian, Nepali, Oromo, Palauan, Rohingya, Rundi, Shona, Sinhalese, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Somali, Swahili, Tajik, Tamil, Telugu, Turkish, Turkmen, Twi, Uzbek, Wolof, Zulu, Chuukese, Czech, Ewe, Finnish, Georgian, Hakha Chin, Khmu, Kyrgyz, Luganda, Mandinka, Norwegian, Soninke, Tongan, Dinka, Kayah, Kosrean, Kunama, Iu Mien, Navajo, Nuer, Pohnpeian, Runyoro, Sangho, Tibetan; other specialties may apply if requirements are met
