• Lead safe, efficient, and profitable execution of steam turbine installation, repair, retrofit, outage, and maintenance projects. • Provide leadership and direction to superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and project teams. • Serve as ProcessBarron's primary field representative for customers. • Promote and enforce safety culture, OSHA compliance, site requirements, and company procedures. • Conduct safety meetings, audits, field observations, and job hazard assessments. • Manage day-to-day field activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and materials. • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, quality, productivity, and budget objectives. • Participate in outage planning, execution reviews, and project closeout. • Review drawings, specifications, work packages, and customer requirements. • Support inspections, troubleshooting, alignment, balancing, and repair activities. • Resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance with engineering requirements, OEM recommendations, and industry best practices. • Lead customer meetings, outage planning sessions, and daily project updates. • Coordinate operations, engineering, field services, fabrication, machining, and project management teams. • Monitor labor utilization, productivity, schedule performance, project costs, and key performance indicators. • Support estimating, planning, forecasting, and project reviews; identify profitability and efficiency improvements. • Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to field personnel; develop future leaders. • Implement technology and best practices to improve field execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred. • Minimum five (5) years of experience supervising heavy industrial construction, turbine outage, maintenance, or rotating equipment projects. • Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience managing field personnel, superintendents, contractors, or construction teams. • Experience working directly with industrial manufacturing facilities, pulp and paper mills, utilities, refineries, or power generation customers. • Strong knowledge of steam turbine systems, outage planning, installation practices, and maintenance methodologies. • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and OSHA compliance. • Preferred: experience with specified turbine OEM equipment; PMP Certification; major turbine outages and capital projects; ASME standards, rigging, crane operations, welding, and millwright activities; advanced business or project management training. • Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America. • Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and outage schedules. • Must be available for emergency customer requests. • Ability to work safely in heavy industrial and power generation environments, including heights exceeding 100 feet and confined spaces. • Ability to wear required PPE and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project or equivalent, ERP systems, construction reporting platforms, and timekeeping/workforce management applications.
