📋 Description

• Build and maintain secure and optimized blockchain applications • Own epics end to end, from story writing and pointing through delivery and release • Break agreed epics into work that the team can execute • Build across many different languages while solving large, complex problems • Report epic progress regularly and accurately • Raise risks before they become surprises • Partner with senior engineers on technical design, architecture decisions, and future epics • Use AI coding tools as a default part of the workflow and rigorously review their output • Review teammates' code for design concerns, edge cases, and test gaps • Work directly with neighboring systems throughout delivery • Investigate and resolve issues found in QA, UAT, and production • Communicate frequently to encourage fast feedback loops and remove blockers • Work with the Architect on technical design, with guidance from senior engineers • Serve specialist teams dependent on custody contracts, transaction signing and orchestration, and key management

🎯 Requirements

• 3 or more years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software • Strong blockchain fundamental knowledge, including in-depth knowledge of top chains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum • Familiarity with basic cryptography commonly utilized by blockchains • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including prioritization, time management, and meeting deadlines on multiple projects • Automated testing as a habit • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and judgment to evaluate their output • Clear written communication and strong command of the English language • Ability to reason through technical disagreements with evidence and update views when evidence shifts • Authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada • Able to pass a comprehensive background check • Experience mentoring or onboarding other engineers is nice to have • Background in finance, brokerage, trading, or custody is nice to have • Exposure to regulated environments and required audit trails is nice to have • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar is nice to have
