📋 Description

• Produce standard, ad hoc, and analytical reporting packages to help employers gain insight into leave of absence, disability, and life insurance • Provide a strategic, data-informed approach to developing claims reporting packages for employers • Complete analysis for annual, semi-annual, finalist, and ad hoc reporting meetings • Create and maintain customer dashboards and data pipelines • Maintain and update analytic services templates, scripts, and documentation • Perform customer reporting, industry analysis, benchmark analysis, regression analysis, and other analyses • Participate in internal meetings to explain and review data visualizations and concepts before customer presentations • Design innovative reporting solutions using industry and analytics expertise to enhance client value • Collaborate with the broader cross-functional business team providing analytics, consulting, and operational solutions to Group Insurance customers and internal stakeholders • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BA or BS degree required, preferably in a quantitative field • Basic understanding of health, disability, and life data • Critical thinking skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Basic knowledge of a programming language such as R or Python • Basic knowledge of SQL/query tools and techniques • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Power BI or another data visualization platform • Ability to explain complex data to a wide audience • High attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple/changing priorities within tight deadlines • Effective interaction and communication with internal and external partners • Superior time management and organizational skills • Presentation/facilitation skills • Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills • Self-starter able to set challenging goals • Basic negotiation skills • Team player • AWS and Redshift experience is a bonus
