📋 Description

• Convert warm inbound leads into committed program enrollments through consultative, phone-based sales conversations • Educate consumers on PPL’s Medicaid self-direction programs, assess eligibility and needs, address objections, and secure verbal enrollment commitments • Manage each lead from first contact through confirmed verbal commitment and verified eligibility • Initiate first contact within 2 hours of lead assignment • Prioritize Tier 1 Medicaid-confirmed leads before Tier 2 leads according to established guidelines • Introduce PPL and explain Medicaid self-direction programs, including ODP and OLTL in Pennsylvania and equivalent programs in Virginia • Meet monthly enrollment commitment targets • Execute structured warm handoffs to Enrollment Specialists and confirm consumer next steps • Maintain complete and timely records in the lead tracker and Salesforce once live • Participate in weekly coaching sessions, call reviews, objection practice, and conversion analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to conduct consultative phone-based sales conversations, educate consumers, qualify them, handle objections, and ask for commitment in a single call • Comfortable initiating outbound follow-up calls and managing a lead queue with discipline • Active listening and tone adaptability for consumers with varying levels of health literacy and program familiarity • Accurate, same-day documentation of all contacts and dispositions in lead trackers and CRM systems • Ability to address cost concerns, program complexity, and family involvement without escalating or deferring • Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, human services, business, or related field; substantial professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree • 2 or more years of inside sales, phone-based sales, or high-volume consultative sales experience • Experience in healthcare, insurance, Medicare/Medicaid plan sales, benefits enrollment, or home and community-based services • Familiarity with Pennsylvania ODP or OLTL waiver programs, or Virginia Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) • Prior experience with structured lead management or CRM systems; Salesforce preferred • Documented history of meeting or exceeding a sales quota; specific attainment figures requested during interview • Demonstrated comfort with inbound and outbound call activity • Ability to explain complex program information in plain language to consumers unfamiliar with Medicaid programs
