• Follow up on referrals for participant-directed services • Support individuals/employers and providers in completing enrollment documentation • Identify and resolve barriers and bottlenecks to timely enrollment • Coordinate with case management and service/support coordination entities • Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize enrollment cycle times and ensure timely, complete provider payments • Process enrollment documentation, obtain employer identification numbers, complete criminal background checks, and handle other enrollment requirements • Communicate referral corrections and update participant and provider enrollment statuses in portals and systems • Support workforce management delegation to meet service levels • Assess participants’ and authorized representatives’ ability to communicate, learn, act as employers, and self-direct services • Communicate needed supports and accommodations • Perform in-home visits as applicable • Document and report inability to self-direct appropriately • Educate participants and employers on fiscal intermediary interactions, authorized services, timesheets, provider enrollment, and self-direction • Provide person-centered program education and guidance • Explain participant, authorized representative, and provider roles and responsibilities, including payroll, vendor payments, tax withholding, and reporting • Provide direct and train-the-trainer instruction on program rules, Financial Management Systems, online enrollment, service time capture, portals, and emerging technologies • Train on identification and reporting of suspected fraud, abuse, neglect, and exploitation • Identify, report, and follow up on suspected fraud • Assess and report participant abuse, neglect, and exploitation according to protocol • Maintain documentation of services and time in accordance with policies and procedures
• Must reside in the state of Virginia • Strong customer service and support experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Nexus, Better Online, Adobe Sign platforms and web-based applications • High aptitude for process assessment, improvement, and recommendations • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to develop strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders • Related bachelor’s degree preferred; can be substituted with 1+ years of related experience • Additional education and experience requirements as indicated by state contract requirements • Minimum of one (1) year of experience serving individuals with disabilities and/or aging adults preferred • Ability to perform regular business travel and applicable in-home visits
