📋 Description

• Own Purple's AI visibility KPIs, including mention share, citation share, share of voice, sentiment, and average position • Map conversational shopper questions to pages and sources that should answer them • Maintain a quarterly AEO Opportunity Matrix • Monitor and correct inaccuracies in how AI engines describe Purple products, warranty, and GelFlex® Grid technology • Own and audit structured data across Purple.com, including Product, Offer, Review, FAQ, Organization, and LocalBusiness schema in JSON-LD • Govern AI crawler access through robots.txt and related controls • Maintain Purple's entity footprint across its website, Google's Knowledge Graph, Merchant Center, and third-party sources • Partner with IT on indexing, rendering, canonicals, faceted navigation, site speed, and platform modernization requirements • Optimize product feeds for AI shopping results and agentic commerce • Run the Citation Gap Program and close citation gaps through PR and affiliate partners • Direct Reddit strategy, including AMA series and community moderation • Partner with PR and Brand on reviews, expert endorsements, and E-E-A-T signals • Set answer-first content standards and oversee content briefs, approvals, and published work • Build topic clusters around pain and pressure relief, cooling, sleep position, and model differentiation • Partner with Legal and SMEs on substantiated health and sleep content • Ensure new products and landing pages launch with schema, FAQs, and internal linking • Grow top-three rankings for high-intent terms and own organic and AI-referred revenue • Align with Site Merchandising and Demand Gen on launches and landing page governance • Track AI commerce developments and recommend investment opportunities • Support local SEO and new showroom openings • Support Amazon SEO and product information accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in SEO, with significant Ecommerce or DTC experience • 1 to 2+ years of hands-on AEO/GEO work, with examples of measurably improving a brand's visibility, citations, or share of voice in AI answers • Hands-on experience writing, testing, and auditing nested schema.org markup in JSON-LD for product catalogs • Working knowledge of crawler access, JavaScript-heavy page rendering, retrieval, and third-party sources cited by LLMs • Experience with AI visibility platforms such as SEO Clarity ArcAI, Peec, Profound, Ahrefs Brand Radar, or similar, and enterprise rank tracking • Strong analytics skills in GA4 and Google Search Console • Experience managing agencies with clear briefs, KPIs, and QA, including AI-assisted content production at scale • Ability to influence IT, Creative, PR, and paid media teams without direct authority • Clear, concise communication and ability to present to executives and the board • Reddit and community strategy or community/social agency management is an advantage • Affiliate, PR, or digital PR experience tied to citation building is an advantage • Experience with Google Merchant Center, product feed tools, and AI shopping or agentic commerce is an advantage • SQL, Snowflake, or experience using LLM APIs and scripts to monitor AI answers at scale is an advantage • Experience with health or wellness content and claim substantiation is an advantage
