📋 Description

• Design, build and operate Elixir services with Phoenix, Ecto and OTP, including APIs, workers and background jobs • Build and evolve partner-facing REST APIs, including versioning, outbound webhooks and delivery guarantees • Work on ledgers, points balances, settlement and reconciliation, prioritizing correctness • Own frontend features end to end in React and TypeScript, including admin and partner dashboards and their APIs • Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code daily while reviewing their output • Review code substantively and act as a second pair of eyes on system correctness • Write clear PR descriptions, architecture notes and documentation alongside code • Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring and security on AWS

🎯 Requirements

• AI first: Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor or similar) every day • 6+ years of professional software engineering, with 4+ years on the backend • 3+ years of production Elixir with Phoenix, Ecto and OTP • Strong PostgreSQL: real SQL, transaction semantics and performance tuning • Solid REST API design and background job processing (Oban or equivalent) with retries • Proven experience in the loyalty, travel tech, payments or FinTech industries • 3+ years of React and TypeScript • Working knowledge of AWS (ECS, RDS, S3), Docker and CI/CD with GitHub Actions • Fluent in English
