• Develop, execute, and manage corporate sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect categories • Perform complex data analysis to identify sourcing and cost-optimization opportunities and generate savings • Negotiate complex and competitive programs and communicate category proposal value propositions to business lines and senior management • Collaborate with internal user departments to optimize purchasing and corporate governance of spend categories • Lead category management activities to achieve business objectives and benefit targets • Develop supplier and industry category profiles and best-in-class supply-chain strategies for data center providers • Identify and leverage company-wide spend opportunities • Coordinate Facilities purchasing activities across the national data-center portfolio • Lead supplier selection and recommendation activities, including RFI/RFP development and bid analysis • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-spend, complex, and strategic categories • Provide guidance on supplier profiles and Total Cost of Ownership models • Develop implementation strategies, assignments, communication plans, and timelines • Lead implementation activities for categories with critical business and customer impacts • Monitor compliance with supplier agreements • Develop long-range sourcing plans to reduce costs and optimize supplier value • Conduct spend analysis and develop methodologies and metrics to track progress • Negotiate, review, and implement contractual arrangements per company policy • Identify and implement system solutions and best practices for indirect sourcing and procurement • Build stakeholder relationships to gather category requirements and specifications • Ensure tactical purchasing execution for routine business needs • Drive value through innovation and collaboration with strategic suppliers and internal customers
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience • Seven or more years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply-Chain • Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation, and management • Experience building relationships with key stakeholders to gather category requirements and specifications • Experience managing and leading change initiatives with significant organizational impact • Experience developing long-range sourcing plans to reduce total costs, optimize supplier value, and meet internal customer requirements • Demonstrated company-wide procurement leadership experience in one or more indirect categories, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience • Excellent interpersonal skills • Organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills • Planning, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects • Ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems • MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain (preferred) • Experience supporting a data center provider (preferred) • Procurement certification such as ISM CPSM (preferred)
