📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of transportation, freight forwarding, and project logistics operations • Directly manage, mentor, and develop operations and project management teams • Establish performance expectations, provide coaching, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain team accountability • Oversee complex domestic and international logistics projects • Develop and implement operational standards, procedures, and performance metrics • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability • Collaborate with sourcing, sales, finance, and executive leadership to support business objectives • Monitor project performance, financial results, customer satisfaction, and operational risks • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and contractual requirements • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or third-party logistics • Proven experience directly supervising and leading teams, including employee development, performance management, coaching, and accountability • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing operational teams • Previous experience in a senior operations leadership or management role • Strong knowledge of project cargo and multimodal transportation • Experience managing complex logistics projects and remote teams • Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance, financial results, and customer satisfaction • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills • Proficiency in transportation management systems and Microsoft Office • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
