📋 Description

• Engage with members via phone, email, and other channels to assist with quotes, new policies, billing inquiries, underwriting questions, and policy changes • Build rapport and trust by asking thoughtful questions, understanding member needs, and offering accurate solutions to minimize transfers and escalations • Process insurance transactions such as endorsements, cancellations, and coverage updates while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies • Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and provide timely, accurate information • Maintain required certifications and actively pursue opportunities to grow product knowledge • Meet performance metrics related to service quality, responsiveness, and member satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; some college degree preferred • At least 6 months of customer service experience required; healthcare, retail, hospitality, food and service industry experience accepted • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone • Ability to multitask across multiple applications while maintaining focus and accuracy • Must have an Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license • Typing speed of 20 WPM with 90% accuracy • Solid understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory standards • Strong research and internet skills; quick learner across various subjects and systems • Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort with digital tools • High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection; no Wi-Fi, satellite, cellular hotspot, or cellular Internet • Upload speed of 5 Mbps and download speed of 50 Mbps • Internet service provider must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss and latency under 100ms • Available cell phone or tablet and ability to install required 2FA software • Quiet interview environment without Bluetooth devices, smart watches, additional computers, or writing instruments; door closed; phones not allowed
