📋 Description

• Manage Offer in Compromise cases from start to finish through acceptance, rejection, denial, or appeal • Advocate for clients and exhaust available options to achieve the best possible outcome • Review client documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission • Communicate with IRS Offer Specialists and Examiners, providing documentation and updates • Analyze Reasonable Collection Potential calculations to identify errors, missing expenses, or appeal opportunities • Prepare and submit rebuttals to incorrect or outdated IRS Extension to Pay demand letters • Prepare and submit appeal packets and attend scheduled appeal conferences • Collaborate daily with internal teams to ensure timely case progression • Maintain relationships with IRS personnel and internal teams through excellent written and verbal communication • Prioritize clients' best interests and perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Enrolled Agent (EA) license or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) • Active PTIN (Preparer's Tax Identification Number) • Established e-Services account on IRS.gov • 1+ years of experience setting up resolutions with ACS (Automated Collection System) or Revenue Officers • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM platforms • Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills • Service-oriented mindset and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues • Ability to rapidly apply product knowledge and compliance guidelines • Professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality • Strong understanding of IRS tax procedures, return processing, personal and business compliance, and identity theft
