📋 Description

• Complete detailed assessments accurately according to field conditions • Record data using correct standards so analysis is clear and easily understood by office-based project personnel • Communicate with the team to ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection procedures • Use smartphones and/or tablets to collect and document relevant data • Use GPS software and/or geospatial coordinates to navigate assigned territory and client sites • Identify items to be documented in the field with minimal supervisory assistance • Meet production targets and understand project deliverables and milestones • Follow safety protocols and participate in safety initiatives • Assist in power restoration efforts during natural disaster events • Travel overnight periodically as required • Conduct daily travel and utility distribution equipment field inspections • Perform visual analyses, capture photographs, and enter data into mobile devices for distribution field data collection projects

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform visual assessments effectively • Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets for data entry and communication • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with little to no supervision • Willingness to travel extensively to various work sites within the client's service territory, sometimes with little notice • Willingness to adapt to new site inspections and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions and terrain • Willingness to travel overnight periodically • Valid driver's license and ability to provide a clean driving record • Strong navigational skills and ability to read maps • Proficiency in basic computer software and Microsoft Office Suite applications • Clean and professional appearance during client interactions • Proper time management skills • Meet company standards for pre-employment background checks and drug screening • Highest standards of ethics and integrity • Commitment to safety protocols and guidelines • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain for extended periods • Frequent travel required, up to 100%, to utility sites, customer locations, and project areas • Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, navigate uneven ground, and access active construction or utility work sites • Ability to lift and carry equipment, tools, and materials up to 25–50 pounds • Ability to safely perform duties while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
