📋 Description

• Design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications • Prepare and review technical specifications and drawings • Conduct engineering analysis and simulations for transmission line design • Mentor and train lower-level engineers and team members • Perform independent reviews of calculations, drawings, specifications, and transmission line PLS-CADD models • Support the project team during construction and installation • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project goals • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations • Perform field work as required for design, construction, and commissioning activities • Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications • PE License required • Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools • Strong working knowledge of foundation design and analysis • Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, FAD Tools, and AutoCAD • Familiarity with NESC, ASCE, ACI, RUS, IEC, and IEEE codes and standards • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Desire to mentor, train, and lead the next generation of engineers
