📋 Description

• Lead the planning and implementation of medium-large power delivery projects ranging in complexity • Support business development through project scoping, fee development, proposal preparation, interviews, negotiations, and contract development • Define project scope, work procedures, sequences, schedules, budgets, staffing, vendor lists, and progress billing points after project award • Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain project completion approvals • Maintain continuing business relationships with clients as part of ongoing business development • Plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements • Manage day-to-day activities of project engagements, including clients and project teams • Achieve project quality, scope, budget, and schedule objectives • Analyze project performance and resource utilization • Identify potential out-of-scope work • Manage and negotiate contract change orders • Identify and manage project risk from proposal through project completion • Train, mentor, and oversee other Project Managers • Conduct and participate in portfolio and project reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in engineering from an accredited college or university (preferred but not required) • PE (preferred but not required) • PMP (preferred but not required) • Minimum of 10 years of increasing experience in the Power Delivery Industry, with a minimum of 5 years in project management • Firm understanding of financial management • Demonstrated capabilities and success in managing large multi-discipline programs, projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects • Thorough understanding of various types of power delivery projects, including transmission, substation, and distribution • Strong skills in relationship development and management • Previous customer experience preferred • Experience leading Transmission substation and distribution projects preferred
