• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify electromechanical equipment • Troubleshoot technical problems and systems issues • Determine technical solutions according to product and customer specifications • Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements • Assess customer needs and recommend solutions • Conduct technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives • Act as local on-site representative to customers • Manage territory responsibilities, including preventive maintenance and software and hardware upgrades • Provide service support in hospital and clinic laboratory environments • Manage individual parts • Complete online training and administrative expense reporting • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 4 years of military or field service experience required • Minimum 4 years of experience installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying electromechanical equipment required • Experience preferably in the field • Team player who is self-motivated and interacts appropriately with peers, sales counterparts, and customers • Ability to organize and express ideas clearly, verbally and in writing, in individual or group situations • Appropriate technical knowledge in electro-mechanical, chemistry, computer, and/or related disciplines • Ability to use technical knowledge to perform required job functions competently • Ability to manage assigned workload within allotted time constraints • Ability to lift 75 lbs. • Valid driver's license always required • Ability to travel overnight 50–75% to Rochester, NY during the first few months of training • After training, ability to travel up to 75% around the territory, with occasional overnight travel of 1–2 nights per week • Not currently eligible for visa sponsorship • Healthcare or medical device industry experience preferred • Must meet customer credentialing requirements, which may include up-to-date immunizations • Must work autonomously in a home office environment • Must maintain a valid driver's license and own and maintain an automobile suitable for customer sites and airports • Must be physically able to travel up to 75% • Required vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, sit, kneel, squat, or balance as required
