📋 Description

• Plan, coordinate, and execute complex data conversion and migration projects. • Develop and implement robust data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. • Analyse and map data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring compatibility and accuracy. • Perform comprehensive data cleansing, validation, and deduplication to maintain high standards of data quality. • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including IT and business departments, to define data conversion requirements and objectives. • Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues that arise during the conversion process. • Create and maintain detailed documentation of all data conversion procedures, mapping rules, and processes. • Develop reports to monitor data quality and the progress of migration projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Data Conversion Specialist, Data Migration Specialist, or in a similar role. • Strong proficiency with SQL and extensive experience with relational database systems. • Demonstrable experience with ETL tools and data migration methodologies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams. • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is highly desirable. • Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering organisation is advantageous.
