📋 Description

• Pioneer new data solutions at Qventus • Lead the design, development, and management of data assets and data pipelines • Discover, evaluate, and integrate new datasets, including pipeline development and data modeling/documentation • Collaborate with key data stakeholders to understand dataset impact and relevance to core products and healthcare • Technically manage data assets throughout the dataset lifecycle • Maintain partnerships on ingestion and solution data engineering • Translate product and analytical vision into functional, reliable, modular, secure data pipelines • Design data structures and build and schedule data transformation pipelines • Improve transparency of data products • Set company standards for data engineering practices • Guide architectural approaches, data pipeline designs, and integration of emerging technologies • Partner with data modeling leads, integration partners, solution experts, cross-functional partners, and data users • Develop strategic enhancements to the foundational data model • Translate functional needs into data requirements and quality checks

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent cross-functional communication and ability to explain complex technical components to technical and non-technical partners • Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns and anomalies, and extract meaningful insights • Excellence in quality data pipeline design, development, and optimization • Ability to independently handle ambiguous project requirements and lead data initiatives from start to finish • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based, highly available, observable, and scalable data platforms utilizing large, diverse data sets in production • Experience with MLOps and/or developing and maintaining machine learning models and infrastructure • Experience with data visualization tools and analytics technologies such as Sigma, Looker, and Tableau • Relevant industry certifications are a bonus, including Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional, AWS Certified Data Engineer or Solutions Architect Professional, SnowPro Advanced Architect/Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, and dbt Analytics Engineering • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a bonus • Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background investigation and drug test • Healthcare experience preferred
