📋 Description

• Lead core technology platforms for R1, including cloud/data center, network and security engineering, and corporate systems • Lead technology strategy and operations from engineering and operations perspectives • Lead technology design for new acquisition integration • Establish and manage technology standards across the organization • Create and manage the technology TCO model • Lead the department’s FinOps function • Lead R1’s cloud strategy and migration from on-premises hardware to the cloud • Design and operate a global network for performance, resiliency, and availability • Define and operate an operations support function meeting or exceeding SLAs • Partner with Cybersecurity to secure R1 and client data • Establish and benchmark technology costs through a TCO model • Mature FinOps and ensure consumption meets budgets and forecasts • Govern technology standards, exceptions, and enterprise reference architecture • Lead acquisition and new-client integration roadmaps toward standardization • Build and evolve a high-performing global organization • Define roles across internal teams, offshore delivery, and third-party security providers • Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement • Own the budget and investment strategy • Optimize spending across personnel, tools, and vendors • Ensure ROI alignment with enterprise risk priorities • Establish a forward-looking strategy and roadmap within 12–18 months • Strengthen enterprise capabilities against best-in-class benchmarks • Deliver an efficient operating model aligned with R1’s global delivery structure • Build a durable team and process model for long-term performance and governance

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technology leadership • Experience in enterprise leadership roles leading enterprise strategy and/or operations across cloud, corporate systems, M&A integration, and TCO/FinOps • Leadership experience in regulated industries (healthcare preferred) • Strategic, enterprise thinker with strong execution discipline • Comfortable operating in transformational, complex environments • Strong communicator with ability to translate technical risks into business impact
