📋 Description

• Lead the strategy, build-out, and operations of OperateCo's talent capability for Rackspace's Data & AI business • Build an internal engine that identifies, trains, certifies, and deploys technical operators for Palantir Foundry and AIP engagements • Build the model alongside Palantir's Forward Deployed Engineer program • Partner with HR, Delivery, Engineering, and Business Unit leaders on scalable sourcing, training, certification, and workforce operations • Build and run high-school/early-career fellowship, non-graduate, and graduate sourcing pathways • Define and apply merit-based selection standards across all pathways • Own sourcing volume, pipeline yield, cost-per-hire targets, pathway mix, and selection-rate reporting • Design and operate a Rackspace academy taking new hires from platform foundations to production-ready skills • Use OneOS and live Customer Zero engagements as structured training environments • Align curriculum with Palantir's training organization and develop Rackspace-owned content • Establish certification as the deployment quality bar • Drive Rackspace Forward Deployed Engineers to Palantir Foundry/AIP certification or an equivalent standard before customer assignment • Manage the relationship with Palantir's certification team on shared standards and certification pathways • Forecast demand, plan cohorts, and deploy certified FDEs into private cloud, sovereign, and air-gapped customer environments • Track utilization, time-to-deploy, and post-deployment performance • Partner with delivery and account leadership to scale operator capacity with demand • Serve as primary operating contact for Palantir's FDE program leadership • Build the business case and operating model for scaling the Talent Engine from a Data & AI pilot to a Rackspace-wide capability • Report progress, economics, and risks to the CHRO and executive sponsors • Own the P&L logic linking certification levels to billing tiers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 8+ years in talent strategy, workforce development, or technical staffing leadership • 3+ years building a training or certification program from scratch • Direct experience designing multi-pathway hiring programs at scale, including early-career, non-traditional, and graduate pathways • Working knowledge of technical delivery models in cloud, data, or AI environments • Ability to speak credibly with engineering and delivery leaders about production-ready standards • Experience partnering with or operating alongside a customer or partner organization on shared standards • Strong program and financial fluency connecting certification levels, deployment readiness, and billing/margin outcomes • Excellent stakeholder management across HR, delivery, sales, and executive leadership • Advanced degree preferred • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, AIP, or the Forward Deployed Engineer model specifically preferred • Experience standing up an internal academy or bootcamp model tied to live customer delivery preferred • Background in sovereign, private cloud, or air-gapped/regulated delivery environments preferred
