• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Claims Department • Supervise Claims Specialists and oversee their daily activities • Ensure timely, efficient, and accurate healthcare claims processing • Manage workforce workload and staffing to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance • Provide training, coaching, and support to team members • Evaluate team performance and improve productivity and quality • Handle escalated claims issues and resolve complex cases • Develop strategies to reduce escalations • Improve processes and policies with the Claims Manager based on claim issue trends • Act as a liaison and escalation point for clients • Participate in client meetings, discuss service performance, resolve issues, and gather feedback • Prepare client reports and presentations covering performance metrics and initiatives • Maximize use of the RAM processing platform and products for automated and efficient manual outcomes • Develop department policies, procedures, workflows, and handoff processes • Prepare training approaches and onboarding timelines • Coordinate with IT/Ops Support on UAT plans, scenarios, and cases • Assess reporting needs and operationalize metrics-driven department and client outcome management
• 7-10 years of healthcare industry experience working in the payer segment in Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, or with an industry competitor • Experience in a BPaaS environment is a plus • Experience working in a production environment • Ability to meet performance standards • Attention to detail • Ability to apply documented procedures to achieve desired outcomes • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel • Good interpersonal skills • Strong written and oral communication abilities
