📋 Description

• Review information at placement of files to determine collection eligibility • Conduct Oklahoma litigation work • Review correspondence and files to determine whether they are suit appropriate • Review answers • Prepare discovery and dispositive motions • Conduct trials and appear for hearings • Manage high-volume civil litigation dockets in debt-collection cases • Handle all phases of litigation from commencement through post-judgment actions • Stay current with changes in state or local rules • Support post-judgment actions involving attachment and garnishment

🎯 Requirements

• Licensure is required with admission to the Oklahoma Bar • A law degree • 2 to 4 years of experience as a general litigation attorney (preferred) • Experience in creditor’s rights litigation (preferred) • Experience in appellate court and/or Federal Court (preferred) • Knowledge of post-judgment remedies including attachment and garnishment • Familiarity with state and federal consumer laws • Ability to prioritize and organize a high volume of information • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm • Maintenance of professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
