📋 Description

• Provide commercial technical support to existing and targeted customers • Provide hands-on processing assistance and troubleshoot injection, extrusion, and blow-molding processes • Answer plastics-related questions regarding material properties, processing, equipment, and testing • Review applications and select materials • Review mold designs • Attend customer meetings as the technical expert • Present technical workshops • Provide technical literature, material properties, and other technical documents • Assist with determining causes of part failures • Assist with specification approvals • Develop technical presentations and competitive offset lists • Assist Business Development Managers with special projects • Participate in customer conference calls on technical discussions • Provide technical support during processing trials • Write technical reports for trials and customer projects • Write visit reports to document visits and disseminate information across the Technology Group • Interact with customers, suppliers, agencies, testing facilities, and personnel within the Ravago organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Plastics Technology, Material Science preferred or equivalent experience • Capable of effectively managing a heavy travel schedule • Skilled at prioritizing projects and day-to-day tasks • Able to work in a shared space with constant noise, with or without a private office • Able to push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs weekly • Able to travel by foot, car, bus, airplane, or other transportation, including prolonged sitting, waiting, and standing • Able to set up desk equipment, including equipment placement and connecting cables and power cords • Able to communicate verbally, read, comprehend information, and type consistently and daily
