📋 Description

• Define and drive asset strategy for small molecule clinical programs in oncology and immunology/inflammation • Integrate competitive positioning, mechanistic differentiation, biomarker strategy and patient segmentation into portfolio decisions • Translate Recursion OS and ClinTech insights into strategic asset advantages • Develop and pressure-test competitive narratives for oncology and immunology/inflammation portfolio assets • Build evidence bases for leadership decisions, partnering discussions and investor communications • Partner with clinical development, business development, finance and platform leaders on resource allocation • Raise standards for advancing, differentiating and delivering assets to patients • Operate as a senior strategic partner across Clinical Development, Discovery, ClinTech, Platform and BD • Optimize asset positioning using AI-powered platforms, data analysis, predictive modeling, real-world evidence integration and patient stratification

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in life sciences or related scientific discipline required • Deep expertise in drug discovery and development • 10+ years of biotech/pharma experience • Proven track record of asset-level strategic leadership • Experience advancing programs through clinical stage-gates with demonstrable impact on portfolio value • Deep expertise in small molecule therapeutics for oncology and immunology/inflammation required • Expertise in rare disease is a bonus • Experience leveraging computational approaches and data-driven platforms for asset strategy and clinical decision-making • Ability to build and articulate strategic and competitive cases for clinical assets • Knowledge of mechanistic differentiation, competitive dynamics, regulatory and market considerations • Strong financial acumen, including cross-functional resourcing, asset valuation and portfolio trade-offs • Exceptional executive presence and ability to present to senior leadership and external partners
