📋 Description

• Lead technical consultation for DCS business areas • Understand business practices and processes, elicit and document business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications • Track and manage technologies to determine maturity and applicability • Identify new applications and system enhancements • Evaluate new IT developments, applications, and evolving business/system requirements • Facilitate planning and direct the design, installation, modification, and operation of information systems capabilities • Oversee or approve project strategic plans and functional testing strategies • Monitor project and portfolio performance metrics and business value • Ensure vendor proposals meet technical specifications • Facilitate problem resolution among BSI, HSIT, and DCS • Manage, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and develop team members • Manage resource allocations and coordinate staff assignments • Provide WebEOC, ArcGIS Online, and other systems training and guidance • Provide tier 2 end-user IT ticket support and lead tier 2 systems support volunteers • Develop and maintain tier 2 IT ticket support processes and workflows • Develop and provide technical support for operational configurations in WebEOC, ArcGIS Online, and other systems • Support and maintain permissions, provisioning, and systems access for WebEOC, ArcGIS Online, RC Respond, and other DCS systems • Evaluate, install, and customize vendor-supplied or commercial-off-the-shelf boards or applications • Write or edit code used by WebEOC, ArcGIS Online, or other systems as needed • Report to the Director, DCS Systems Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required • Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required • 3 years of supervisory or management experience • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently • Effective management skills • Ability to work on a team • Travel may be required • Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time • Operational flexibility to meet sudden and unpredictable needs • Management experience cannot be substituted • No relocation assistance is provided
