📋 Description
• Own monthly close including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations • Manage revenue recognition for subscription revenue • Oversee billing and collections, financial operations • Serve as primary contact for external accountants and tax preparers • Evaluate, implement, and improve finance tech stack
🎯 Requirements
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong command of the monthly close process • Track record of automating or eliminating manual processes • Genuine curiosity about AI tools • Experience with common SaaS finance tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) • Hands-on experience booking deferred revenue and applying ASC 606 • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills • CPA or CPA track a plus, but not required
