📋 Description
• Lead tax planning kickoff calls and quarterly advisory meetings • Design and implement strategies such as cost segregation, 1031 exchanges, and depreciation optimization • Review financials to identify missed planning opportunities • Advise on entity structuring and compensation optimization • Prepare or review complex tax returns reflecting strategic planning • Help strengthen and scale the firm’s advisory offerings • Elevate the firm’s technical standards • Guide and mentor team members • Lead strategic client conversations and provide proactive, year-round tax advice
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience • Proven background delivering advisory services, not just compliance • Active CPA, EA, JD, or LLM in Tax required • Deep knowledge of business taxation • Expertise with pass-through entities • Knowledge of tax minimization strategies • Confidence leading client-facing conversations • Ability to translate complex tax laws into actionable business advice • Strategic rather than transactional mindset
